For those unable to travel due to coronavirus restrictions, we offer both Live-Stream Presentation and pre-recorded Virtual Presentation options. There are three types of Presentation Modes available at CCS2024 and you can register to the conference by selecting your preferred type.
1) Oral presentation – live zoom presentation
2) Oral presentation – pre-recorded video presentation
3) Poster presentation
Attendees who wish to participate with a live oral presentation: the conference will take place through ZOOM with free access for all registered attendees. The conference will be held mainly during business hours of America, but program will try to adapt to participants availability.
Each Presenter will get 12 minutes to do their Presentation (PPT is Recommended).
Each Presenter will have 3 minutes for Q&A Session.
Attendees who wish to participate with a pre-recorded oral presentation: those participants who cannot participate live due to the impossibility of the time zone of their geographical location or any other reasons, have the option of submitting a pre-recorded video of up to 12 minutes with the presentation.
The Presenter should record the 12 minutes Video Presentation and send it to us. (The Video should be 12 minutes or less).
The Organizing Committee will play the Video in your Presentation Slot.
The Presenter should be present during your presentation slot, especially for the Q&A Session (3 minutes Q&A).
Attendees who wish to participate in the conference by presenting a poster: the application will offer you the option of uploading a PDF document with the presentation in poster format. Posters should be submitted following the format of the template (sections and typography not mandatory, may be adapted to the specific needs of the research).
Posters should be one page PowerPoint Slide/PDF/Image to be shown in Zoom.
All Posters will be uploaded on the Conference Website before the conference for all the participants to download or go through it.
The Presenter should be present during your presentation slot (3 minutes each).
In order to restrain our participants from traveling during pandemic covid-19, we have introduced this new feature of virtual conference- A convenient way of sharing and discussion.
1. Download Zoom App (Mobile/Notepad/Tablet)
2. Create (Sign-Up) a Zoom Account (www.zoom.us)
3. We will send a meeting invite with an embedded video link. You can find the Meeting ID and Password.
4. Verify your camera and audio input and network connectivity set up before joining the conference call and sharing your screen.
5. Presenters who will not be able to perform a live presentation via Zoom must prepare a pre-recorded video presentation.
6. There are many video conferencing software applications to quickly record a presentation. In this method, you can show your face via webcam (if you'd like) and display your slides as you talk. You can use any meeting software (Zoom/Skype) as long as you have a good recording quality and your final file is in MP4 format.
